A Bespoke 40th Anniversary Ring with Rough Diamond and Rubies

This bespoke anniversary ring was created to mark a remarkable milestone — 40 years of marriage. Designed and handmade in my London studio, it captures the story of enduring love through raw, meaningful materials.

Instead of the traditional ruby centre stone, my client chose something less expected but deeply symbolic — a rough diamond. She loved its natural, unpolished beauty and the way it caught the light with hidden glimmers, much like a long, shared life together. Two tiny rubies were set as accents, offering a subtle nod to the ruby anniversary, but with her own creative twist.

The result is a one-of-a-kind 18ct yellow gold ring, combining a raw diamond’s earthy texture with the warmth of gold and the richness of rubies. Understated, striking, and full of character — a piece that reflects both strength and tenderness.
