Commission a Signature Jewel

Commission a Signature Jewel

I design and handcraft fine jewellery rooted in individuality, texture, and the natural beauty of raw stones.

Every bespoke jewel I create begins with my design language: sculptural forms, subtle symbolism, molten settings, rough diamonds and Sri Lankan sapphires, and the quiet strength of precious metal shaped by hand.

My work celebrates the character and individuality of each gemstone, qualities that give every piece depth and presence.

When you commission a piece, you enter into a creative process guided by my eye and experience. Together, we refine the stone, the symbolism, the scale and the metal, while the design direction remains true to my signature style.

The result is a jewel that feels deeply personal, yet unmistakably mine.

There are three distinct ways you can commission a jewel from me:

1 Signature Bespoke Jewel

A Signature Bespoke jewel is the purest expression of the type of jewellery I create.

Each commission begins with my design language and develops through my use of sculptural forms, molten settings and a textural aesthetic. This is not an adaptation of an existing piece, but the creation of something entirely original.

You may come with a milestone, a story or a stone in mind. From there, I shape the direction, guiding the design through my materials and craftsmanship, with an underlying thread of subtle symbolism that brings personal meaning into the design.

Every Signature Bespoke jewel is conceived, designed and handcrafted in my studio. It is singular in form, personal in meaning and unmistakably aligned with my signature style.

This route is for those who are drawn to my aesthetic and want to invest in a piece that carries clear authorship as well as personal significance.

2 Remodelling and Heirloom Reimagining

If you have jewellery or loose materials that no longer have a life in their current form, I can transform them into something wearable and considered within my signature style.

Remodelling is not about preserving a piece exactly as it was. It is about giving gold and gemstones a renewed sense of purpose. I reinterpret your materials through my design language, creating a jewel that honours their history while allowing them to live again.

Not all heirloom pieces can be directly reworked. Some older gold alloys or the way a piece was originally made can make the metal difficult or unsafe to reuse. In those cases, it is often better to sell or refine the existing gold and use fresh metal to ensure strength, longevity and integrity in the finished piece. I will guide you through the best option during consultation.

This route is suited to those who wish to retain meaningful materials while embracing a new design direction.

3 Customising a Collection Piece

If you are drawn to a piece from one of my collections but would like to personalise it with a different stone, scale or metal, I can create a considered variation within my signature style.

While this route is more streamlined than a fully bespoke commission, it still involves additional design development, sourcing and communication. Customising a collection piece will therefore involve additional costs beyond the original design, reflecting the time and materials required.

This option is suited to those who love an existing design but would like it adapted thoughtfully to suit them.

The Commissioning Process

Enquiry

The process begins with either completing the Jewellery Commission Enquiry Form or contacting me directly. The form helps me understand your ideas, budget and timeframe, allowing our first conversation to be focused and productive.

You are welcome to include screenshots or links from my online shop or Instagram of pieces you are drawn to, as this helps clarify direction from the outset.

Consultation and Design Exploration

We meet either in my North London studio or virtually to discuss your vision in more depth.

At this stage, I may share initial ideas, sketches or source gemstones on approval so that we can explore possibilities together.

Quotation and Deposit

Once the design direction and materials are agreed, I will provide a formal quotation. A fifty per cent deposit is required to secure your commission and any gemstones. The deposit is non-refundable and confirms your order.

Work does not begin until it is received.

Crafting

Your piece is handcrafted in my studio using traditional goldsmithing techniques.

Depending on complexity and materials, this stage typically takes between four and ten weeks.

Completion

You will receive images and videos of the finished piece prior to collection or insured delivery. The remaining balance is due before your jewel is released.

Important Information

Due to the bespoke nature of my schedule, timely communication during the design stage is essential. Delays in responses may result in adjusted timelines.

Precious metal and gemstone prices fluctuate. All quotations are valid for seven days unless otherwise agreed.

If my approach resonates with you, I would be delighted to begin a conversation.
