Collection: Sequin

The Sequin Collection grew from my long standing fascination with finding unusual ways to set gemstones. Through experimenting with drilling directly into stones, I developed a way of setting them so that they could hang and move freely, like jewel-like sequins. From that idea, an entire collection evolved.

Handcrafted in my North London studio, Sequin brings together painterly sapphires, diamonds and luminous pearls with textured sterling silver and yellow gold. Colour, movement and the individual character of each gemstone are central to the collection, from softly shifting watercolour sapphires to sparkling diamond slices and irregular Keshi pearls.

At the heart of Sequin is repeat with variation. The distinctive setting technique and recognisable forms repeat, while the gemstones, colours and handmade details continually change. The result is tactile, contemporary gemstone jewellery in which no two jewels are quite the same, designed to be worn alone, layered together and collected over time.
