Rather than fully recutting the stone, the original double terminated crystal formation was preserved and gently polished by artisan cutters in Sri Lanka whom Tamara Gomez has worked with for many years. The result is a gemstone that retains its natural structure while revealing subtle light and internal inclusions.
The sapphire crystal is balanced within a minimal sterling silver setting, creating a sculptural and quietly kinetic composition inspired by ancient forms and contemporary jewellery design.
