Part of my longstanding Abacus series, these rings explore movement, touch and the playful relationship between jewellery and its wearer. Handcrafted in my North London studio, this design brings together a 4mm purple sapphire and a 1.2ct lilac sapphire crystal, each with its own distinctive shape and character.
The gemstones form kinetic elements that invite you to touch, turn and play with them, much like a miniature abacus. A tactile piece of wearable sculpture, this contemporary sapphire ring is both a beautiful adornment and a playful companion for everyday wear.
