A contemporary take on the classic diamond ring, the Origin Ring pairs a natural 0.5ct mid grey rough diamond with a simple, sculptural sterling silver form. Set East West across the finger, the lozenge shaped diamond gives this version a distinctive horizontal silhouette.
Handcrafted using my signature molten setting technique, the silver is worked directly around the individual rough diamond, creating an organic setting that follows the natural shape of the stone. The softly textured band tapers towards the setting, allowing the diamond and molten silver to remain the focus.
The Origin Ring celebrates the individuality of rough diamonds and the character of jewellery made by hand. Simple enough to wear every day but with the presence of a 0.5ct diamond, it is an alternative rough diamond ring with an elemental, modern feel.
