This rough diamond talisman pendant brings together the raw beauty of a natural grey diamond with an organic, sculptural silver form. Handcrafted in sterling silver using my signature molten setting technique, the 0.40 carat rough diamond sits within the softly irregular surface of the pendant.
Every rough diamond has its own natural shape, texture and character, and the molten silver responds individually to the stone as I work. The irregular form and subtle marks of the making process give this jewel the feeling of a small, contemporary talisman, connecting ancient materials with modern craftsmanship.
Designed to be worn every day, the pendant sits on a fine sterling silver chain and has a tactile, elemental quality. Worn alone or layered with other necklaces, it is an individual alternative to a traditional diamond pendant.
